Can you imagine if you had a magic pen that could deliver everything you wanted in life? Well, you don’t need a special pen because any old pen will work to help you create the life of your dreams. Have you heard of scripting? It’s a fun process to help you tune into your desires in such a way that those desires will manifest in reality. In other words, you can design your future using the power of words. Just like a movie script. Esther Hicks, who channels the entities, collectively known as ‘Abraham’, describes the process in their book, “Ask and It Is Given”. It’s simple and enjoyable… and it works. So how do you go about using scripting to create your future?
The Power of Words…
We all know by now that words are powerful. We can uplift or hurt with words. Words can cause love to flow or ebb. But words can also make a pathway of communication from you to the universe. Or rather, the energy of the universe. The energy around us is at our disposal to use to create our reality. And, being the intuitive person you are, you understand that what we put out there is what we get back. So it makes sense to use our most powerful human tool—language—to put out what we want for ourselves.
…Turned on by the Power of Emotion
The underlying ‘magic’ that makes scripting work is your emotion. Merely writing down hopeful words on paper won’t work by themselves. The feeling behind the words is what energizes and transmits your desires. Emotions are the switch that turns on the power. Emotions change your vibrational energy and bring you into alignment with the thing you want.
To get the most out of the scripting process, you should be in a receptive and positive state to begin with. It’s tempting to try to script yourself out of a bad place. And it is possible to do so, but only if you can move quickly from feeling down to feeling a lot better. For most of us, that isn’t an easy thing to do. We can’t pretend to feel good when we feel like the world is caving in. So for best results, wait until the sadness or despair gives way to a glimmer of hopefulness.
How to Use Scripting
The actual process of scripting couldn’t be easier. Think about what you want to happen or manifest in your life, then write it down. Too easy, right? OK, these are the rules:
- Always write as if the desire has already been delivered.
- Back up your desire with emotion.
Just two rules? Indeed, they are all you need to remember. Let’s go into them in a little more detail.
You Already Have Your Manifestation
Writing your desire as if you already have it is key to tuning your vibration to the thing you want. Remember, you are already part of universal energy; it’s not something you could ever be separated from. You are part of the whole and the energy of the whole flows through you. That probably sounds a bit weird. However, quantum physicists know this to be true. The only difference between the molecules that make up you and the ones that make up the chair you are sitting on is the speed of their vibration. Molecules and their components, particles, permeate the whole universe. They are the whole universe. So when you get up to speed with your desire, that desire becomes part of your reality. And it is impressed upon the particles of the universe and then the universe delivers. And the best way to do it is to know, without doubt that is has already happened. So write as though you already have it.
Ramp Up the Emotion
As you are writing your script, you must ramp up the emotion behind the words. You have to really feel the pleasure of having that thing, or experiencing your life turn in just the way you’d like it to. Imagine you are driving to a particular destination that you know is going to deliver a wonderful experience. It might be meeting up with a dear friend you haven’t seen for a long time. Feel the anticipation as you steer your vehicle through the streets to your meeting point. You are in total control. The car moves easily along the road. You are getting happier and more excited by the minute. You just know this is going to be a good day. You are scripting in your imagination. It will be a good time because you are in tune with having a good time. The universe can’t help but give you a great experience to match your vibration.
What Should I Ask For When Scripting?
Anything you like. However, it’s best to stay within the realms of what you believe is possible. Only because if you ask for something that seems impossible, you are creating doubt in your mind. Esther Hicks often talks about the ‘next logical step’. So see your future as unfolding from where you are right now. Don’t try to get from here to a completely different life. Unless you can convince yourself 100 percent that it will happen. For most, it’s too difficult. So start with small steps that you can build upon. If you can see yourself in a new job, or having a little extra cash in your wallet, or meeting a new potential partner, go for those things.
Scripting for the next day is always a good idea. In fact, it should become part of your evening routine. Prepare to have a good and productive day tomorrow by writing it out as if you are at the end of tomorrow evening.
Examples of Scripting
Remember, you have to feel the feeling of having this manifestation. It helps to use the added power of gratitude to your writing.
I am so happy that we found the home of our dreams. It was such an easy and enjoyable adventure. Everything went so smoothly and we just moved in last week. I am thrilled that it is perfect for our family. The kids have their own rooms and are having so much fun arranging their toys. Our living room is beautiful and peaceful, I feel so joyful and grateful every time I walk in there.
I got the job I wanted! I love it! I went for the interview and was offered the job on the spot. I am so thrilled, so excited to be right here, right now. It’s the job of my dreams. Thank you so much, universe.
I am in love. I met the man I’m going to love forever. And he loves me back. When we met, we both knew instantly we were meant to be together. Our connection is so strong. I give thanks that the universe brought us together.
Today was so good. Work went really well and I was chosen to to work on project X. My co-workers are super helpful to me and we all get along in the best way. I can see more opportunities headed in my direction and I am really looking forward to progressing in the company.
You can make your words even more powerful. Really get into the emotional aspect of having your dream come true. The examples here are very short but you should write as much as you want to. Enjoy the process, after all, you are scriptwriting your life just as you wish it to be.
Resistance Puts the Brakes on Scripting
One warning, if you feel doubt or disbelief, it's resistance poking itself in where it’s not wanted. Resistance slows down your vibration and prevents you tuning in. If you begin to feel doubtful about scripting, then don’t do it until you can reach a state of being sure. Having confidence that the process works means you are halfway there. There’s that old saying, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Big time resistance, for sure. Well, turn it around, and instead say, “I’ll see it when I believe it.” And you will.
